Online Services Smart Choice for Driver Services

Department of Driver Services (DDS) reminds customers that many transactions may be initiated online twenty four hours a day even when all locations are closed.

Please visit for more information on replacing a lost license, making a change of address or obtaining a motor vehicle report.

Also, all eligible customers will receive information from DDS by mail on renewing their license online or via mail. Customers can renew without visiting a DDS location and will still be mailed Georgia’s newly designed and more secure driver’s license.

“If you have an opportunity to renew online or by mail, please do so. It is fast and secure and will save you valuable time,” said DDS Commissioner Gregory C. Dozier.
